In the latest virtual Journalism Bootcamp at Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), University of Iowa students focused on the impact of climate change on development needs in cities.
See the multimedia, long-form reporting project they produced, Women and Water in the Developing World: Linking Water Insecurity and Gender Disparities.
This was the third bootcamp held virtually since the onset of the pandemic. The University of Iowa students produced their final project in collaboration with CSIS’s Dracopoulos iDeas Lab, which was created in 2011 with support from SNF Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos. It is the culmination of a week of seminars and workshops by CSIS experts on topics ranging from Global Nutrition and Urban Food Security to Using Multimedia to Tell Complex Stories.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) supports the CSIS Journalism Bootcamp: Reporting on International Affairs, which has welcomed cohorts from universities around the United States and Greece.
