Newton Public Schools

The grant supports The Examined Life, Greek Studies in Schools Program, which strengthens and reinvigorates Greek studies in the schools. The program provides professional development for teachers to participate in a series of seminars covering topics such as literature, mythology, philosophy, art, archeology and social issues. Established in 1999, the program is administered by the Newton Public Schools in Massachusetts.
