Michael's Cause Inc.

The grant supports the organization’s work to promote awareness and research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Michael’s Cause was established in 2011 to raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and fund research of treatments for this fatal genetic childhood disease, which affects 1 out of every 3,500 boys worldwide. Michael’s Cause is also a member of the Duchenne Alliance, a collaborative effort of foundations working to advance research, treatment, and care of DMD.
