Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

This grant supports a collaborative research project into thalassemia through which scientists and physicians at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Center for Cell Engineering and Department of Pediatrics, along with colleagues at other institutions in the U.S. and abroad, are working to develop a gene therapy-based cure for the blood disorder beta thalassemia major.
