Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing

This grant supports the procurement of equipment, taxonomy and archival services, and interior renovation, in order to create the Federation’s new library and exhibition center, open to the public and containing some 15,000 items, including many rare and out-of-print books and other artifacts. This grant is dedicated in memory of the late Constantine S. Niarchos, the first Greek national to climb Mt. Everest.
