This grant supports the establishment of the interdisciplinary Center for Modern Greece at the university, which will promote the study of Modern Greek language and Greek culture, literature, and history, and will serve as a public platform in Germany for young scholars and writers from Greece, Cyprus, and the Greek diaspora.
