Consulate General of Greece in Istanbul - Sismanoglio Megaro

To support the educational and cultural activities of the Greek General Consulate in Istanbul, which will enhance the Greek Culture extroversion effort in Istanbul. The activities involve the expansion of the Greek Language Center, the promotion of the Sakkoulidis Library, as well as the organization of cultural events. Since the fall of 2009, the Sismanoglio Megaro, the premises of the Greek Consulate of Istanbul, has been used for the organization of cultural activities, exhibitions, research symposia, lectures, movie screenings, and music events. In addition, the Sismanoglio Megaro accommodates the Hellenic Study Center where the instruction of Modern and Ancient Greek classes take place.
