Columbia University

The grant establishes the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Education Outreach Fund at the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute. The Fund will support programming, such as public lectures and K-12 teacher resources, intended to shed light on key issues in brain science. Columbia University was founded in 1754. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in the state of New York and the fifth oldest in the United States, and has approximately 27,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
