This grant supports the Strengthening the House of Nanny Project, which works to meet the essential nutrition, health, education, and shelter needs of vulnerable children in the Rachuonyo District of Western Kenya by economically empowering their grandmothers and caregivers with sustainable income-generating activities. The project, implemented in collaboration with ChildFund Kenya and the Kendu-Bay Child and Family Program, also seeks to reduce stigma related to HIV/AIDS against children and their caregivers.
