This grant supports the renovation of the museum of Le Trophée d’Auguste in France, a structure built in the 1st century BC in honor of the emperor Augustus to celebrate the unity and the power of the Roman Empire; renovation of the site's 1950s museum will allow it to more effectively present the historical and cultural context of the monument.
