This grant supports the therapy project “Medici a Quattro Zampe” (Four-legged Doctors), which brings dogs into the pediatric department of the Ospedale G.B. Grassi in Rome and uses data from their visits to measure the benefit children gain from pet therapy, as well as children’s compliance with their medical regimens, their emotional states, and the presence of stress indicators.
