The week of June 8th, 2018, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) hosted the second CSIS Practicum in Modern Journalism: Reporting on International Affairs.
CSIS invited ten undergraduate students and one faculty member from Tulane University to Washington, D.C. for a one-week practicum. The program is exclusively supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
The CSIS Practicum in Modern Journalism connects rising journalists with policy experts and multimedia producers to tell pressing stories from around the globe. Universities are invited to bring a select group of students to Washington, D.C. to complete an intensive week of workshops that allow them to gain a meaningful understanding of global issues and the nuances of international reporting in an evolving media landscape.
