The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) welcomes 2024
Τhe magic of the holidays culminated at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) with a big party open to all on New Year's Eve! Music, dancing, strolls among light installations, choreographed fountain shows, and games all helped make the occasion merry and bright. A glittering fireworks show gave the new year the sparkle it deserved and offered the best possible kick-off for the start of the SNF RUN: 2024 FIRST RUN race, which is organized by the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress. The event was broadcast via CNN International and Greek public television station ERT3.

The full New Year's Eve Party at the SNFCC
On December 1, the magical SNFCC Christmas World came alive with light, music, and activity. With support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), twinkling lights festooned the trees along the Canal, evergreens filled the Agora with seasonal scents, and the fountains danced to holiday classics! The opening event, filled with holiday cheer, aired on Greek national broadcaster ERT2. That same day, it was broadcast in the lobby of Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall as part of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation-Lincoln Center (SNF-LC) Agora Initiative.
Lighting up the night all throughout December, this year's festive program included performances, concerts, readings, workshops, the return of the beloved ice rink at the SNFCC Canal, new lighting installations in Stavros Niarchos Park, and many more activities for visitors of all ages, which will continue throughout January.
