The SNF Partners with Barça Foundation and L. Messi Foundation to Bring the new SJD Pediatric Cancer Center to Life

At an emotionally charged event, on Thursday, October 18th, the Sant Joan de Déu (SJD) Children’s Hospital laid the first foundation stone for the new SJD Pediatric Cancer Center, supported by the SNF, the Barça Foundation, a long-standing partner of the SNF, and the Leo Messi Foundation, among others.

The event, which left a deep imprint on all the participants with its sincerity, simplicity and impact, culminated with the surprise announcement of new grant commitments by the SNF and the Leo Messi Foundation that bring the fundraising goal for the complete development of the center to its completion.

The SNF’s decision to support the construction of the Pediatric Cancer Center stemmed from its ongoing and fruitful collaboration with the Barça Foundation and was motivated by the internationally acclaimed work of SJD Hospital in the field of cancer treatment.
