On Sunday, April 2nd 2017, the Charitable Sisterhood of Veria honored the SNF for its contribution to the organization to assist people affected by the crisis.
The SNF grant covered the organization’s anti-poverty program, regarding financial support to underprivileged students and families on a monthly basis.
The Charitable Sisterhood of Veria was established in 1905. The organization’s main activities involve the daily provision of meals to individuals in need, offering financial assistance to underprivileged students and families to cover their daily expenses, and the distribution of food packages to 120 families.
