Start the new year off with a bang as the SNF RUN: FIRST RUN from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) returns, organized in collaboration with the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress. The 3K route winds around the enchanting setting of the Christmas World of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
Run the first race of the year, right after a spectacular welcome for the New Year and just before a big celebration in the Agora!
The SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN is open to all and is non-competitive in nature. Official times are kept so that runners can track their performance. Set your new race goal for the new year, or break your record as your first gift to yourself of the year!
As part of the charitable nature of the SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN, runners are invited to contribute a minimum of €5 (or more for those who wish to do so) benefitting children in need this holiday season. More information about the nonprofit organizations that will be supported by this year's race will be announced soon. All proceeds will be donated to these organizations; SNF fully covers the costs of the race.

*The SNF RUN: 2025 FIRST RUN is made possible by an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), which covers all production costs of the race. Organizational supervision of the race is provided by the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress and the Department of Sports Excellence - Sports Excellence at the 1st Orthopedic Surgery Clinic of the Medical School of the University of Athens. The race is organized in collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).
* Payment will be made by credit or debit card through nonprofit Regeneration & Progress. The total amount collected will be distributed equally to the participating beneficiary nonprofit organizations.
* The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is a charitable organization that makes donations to nonprofit organizations. SNF does not accept donations from individuals, companies or other types of organizations.
