Press Conference for the Presentation of the Sports Excellence Program

On Thursday, November 1st, 2018, a Press Conference was held for the presentation of the Sports Excellence Program, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

The program is implemented by the NGO “Regeneration & Progress,” with an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), and is carried out with the scientific supervision of the 1st Orthopedic Clinic of University of Athens’ Medical School.

The Sports Excellence program applies a holistic approach to empower young athletes, developing collaborations with sports federations and other scientific, educational and sports organizations in Greece and abroad, aiming at the athletic and personal empowerment of athletes, while fostering equal access to sports, for all.

As part of the “Sports Excellence” program, a two-day scientific workshop will also take place on November 1st and 2nd, 2018, featuring a series of lectures by academics, as well as renowned coaches and athletes, on Sports Excellence and Endurance Sports.
