Now, kids and teens in Greece and Cyprus have a streaming platform just for them with free short films and full-length features from world cinema. The digital platform launches on December 17, a free gift for the holidays and the whole year to come.
The platform is an initiative of Athens International Children’s Film Festival, and it features—to start—a selection of films from the last edition of the Festival. Accessibility is one of the key features of the platform which includes content adapted for children with autism spectrum disorders, films with sign language interpretation and SDH subtitles, and films with audio description for children with visual impairments.
The platform is supported, among others, by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) as part of its efforts to increase accessibility in arts and culture for all people.
Make popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the movies. Not you, your kids.
