YOJO by iMEdD: an innovative digital-first newsroom for recent graduates is coming

Apr 03, 2025
As part of its long-term mission to build an incubator that supports journalists, students, and media professionals with the necessary training, tools and mentorship, iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development) is introducing a new initiative.

YOJO (Young Journalists) is a digital-first, video-first newsroom, designed to support the next generation of journalists. The initiative will provide recent graduates from any country a paid opportunity to work in an innovative environment where they will produce real-time, field-driven journalism, mentored by experienced journalists and equipped with cutting-edge storytelling and production tools. Starting early 2026, YOJO will welcome its first global cohort to its newsroom in Athens.

The call for applications is now open.
