University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill on her experience at SNF Nostos and the SNF Paideia Program

University of Pennsylvania President Liz Magill wrote a piece in The Pennsylvania Gazette about her recent experience at SNF Nostos and the importance of the SNF Paideia Program in helping students develop the skills to be engaged citizens.

“At the end of June, I experienced one of those moments that serves as a reminder of just what a great university like Penn is all about,” she wrote. “At the start of a busy and event-filled weekend, I had the opportunity to sit in a circle with a half-dozen or so newly minted Penn graduates for a relaxed but freewheeling discussion about the big issues, ideas, and opportunities that lie ahead as, collectively, we look to the future.”

President Magill spoke at SNF Nostos 2023, introducing Dr. Timothy Shriver and his talk, “Can We Teach Inclusivity?” Students from the SNF Paideia Program at the University of Pennsylvania also attended the conference, where they had the opportunity to sit down with President Magill and SNF Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos for a discussion on their ideas, their experiences in the program, and their plans for the future.
