They’re working to expand access to telemedicine in Pakistan, fight gender inequality in Kenya, promote eco-tourism in Indonesia, boost STEM education through play in Morocco, and safeguard the livelihoods of farmers in Ethiopia.

Meet the leaders working in a range of fields in a dozen countries who were selected to participate in the second cohort of the Tällberg Leaders Mentoring Leaders (TLML) program.

TLML, for which the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) provides lead support, launched last year as a complement to the Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, whose recipients were announced earlier this month. Fourteen emerging leaders, selected from 818 applications submitted from 109 countries, will be paired with 14 established leaders for a year of one-on-one mentorship.

"The breadth of this roster of mentees and mentors reflects the Tällberg Foundation’s truly global vision of leadership, a vision that transcends disciplines and traditional frameworks of power,” said SNF Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos. “The flood of interest in TLML demonstrates real optimism in the face of global challenges.”
