We deeply appreciate the care and attention each candidate invested in their application.
We were overwhelmed by the volume of interest shown in the Internship Program, receiving many hundreds of compelling applications (992 applications) for a very finite number of positions (53 internship positions). In a truly competitive process, not being selected does not mean that a candidate’s application was found wanting; many more very worthy candidates applied than could be accepted into the program.
We have been inspired by the passion, thoughtfulness, and altruism candidates demonstrated through their applications, giving us hope for the future they will all help build. Those who were not selected to participate in the Internship Program this cycle are encouraged to apply through a future cycle.
The next call for applications will be for the 2023 fall-winter internship cycle, October 3, 2023, through February 2, 2024. The application will be open from July 3 through August 2, 2023, and all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by September 1, 2023.
